EMERGENCY services were called to a two vehicle crash on the A345 on Sunday afternoon. 

The A345 was closed between Old Sarum and the Beehive roundabout in both directions. 

Emergency services, including police, fire and ambulance attended the scene. 

Police were called at around 1.30pm to the incident, which involved a Vauxhall Vivaro and Ford Escort. 

Two fire crews from Salisbury Fire Station attended and South Western Ambulance Service sent two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle to the scene. 

Two patients were taken to hospital for further treatment.

The road was cleared by 4.40pm.
