A GYMNASTICS school in Salisbury is relaunching after a small break, with places filling up fast.

Salisbury Gymnastics Academy 2, previously running in Wilton, is returning to the city this summer with brand new classes and seasonal projects, for both the novice and trained gymnast to get involved with.

The school will be running classes including adult gym, teenager gym, afterschool clubs and trampolining at South Wilts Grammar School from September, with holiday clubs and gym camp happening across the summer.

Head coach, Shelley Wood, said around 150 people have already shown an interest, adding: "The response has been amazing, everyone is excited and the other clubs have been so supportive. We're hoping for all places to be filled for September."

The school will also have a competitive focus by preparing prospective pupils for competitions, with an aim to get to national level.

And former pupils will be returning to help coach the fresh batch of students.

Shelley added: "We're bringing back the same family environment, keeping it nice and social while preparing for competitions."
