A MAN in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of theft and going equipped to steal in Salisbury last night.

Police were called to Bourne Retail Park on Southampton Road in Salisbury at around 7.30pm after reports that a vehicle had been used in the theft of items from Dunelm, which was parked near Tesco Extra.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "Enquiries were carried out and the vehicle was recovered. A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of theft and going equipped to steal. He remains in Melksham custody for questioning."
