A BAR with "great cocktails, great food and great people" has now opened in the heart of Salisbury.

The Dancing Moose opened on Friday, becoming the newest place in the city to offer food, drinks and live entertainment.

The restaurant bar on Blue Boar Row has replaced Bill's, which, as reported, closed at the end of May to focus its renovation works on other branches.

Before the opening, general manager Jarrod Cronje said he was "very excited" to be opening the venue which will be "unique and new" for the city.

Mr Cronje added: "We're bringing the culture and adventurous spirit of The Dancing Moose to Salisbury. It will be informal and retro, and we're a real fun group.

"There will be lots of cocktails, so great cocktails, great food and great people."
