A NADDER Valley school has been presented a special award for its education in farming and agriculture.
Debbie Hicks, the regional consultant for LEAF (linking agriculture and farming to education) visited Fridays' celebration assembly to present Chilmark and Fonthill Bishop Primary School with a bronze award.
Chilmark is now a pioneering school which uses farming and food production within the curriculum and the only school in the south-west to be accredited the bronze award. The school has already been awarded the prestigious RHS 5 Star award for school gardening.
