Elderly man taken to hospital with serious injuries after crash
AN elderly pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being involved in a crash with a Grey Ford Focus in Tidworth.
It happened just before 6pm yesterday (Thursday 8 August) in Pennings Road, on the road directly opposite Lidl.
Police say the 82-year old local man, received serious injuries to his head and was taken to Southampton hospital where he is currently being treated.
The road was closed while emergency services assisted the man and carried out investigations, it was reopened at around 10pm.
