She said numbers were “up on last year” with more than 18,00 visitors coming along.
Activities on offer included a display of falconry by Liberty’s Raptor and Reptile Centre, a fun dog show, classic and vintage vehicles, ferret racing.
This year also boasted more entries for the dog show as well as an increase in stallholders. The best in vegetables, fruit, flowers, produce, flower arranging and photographer were also on show.
Ringwood and Burley Band also performed at the show for the first time.
Sue thanked everyone who supported the show and said due to the success of the event the committee will be able to make “substantial donations” to local causes, including a playground project at Burley Primary School.
