A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Salisbury Magistrates' Court:

ALAN BERNARD, aged 46, of North Street, Wilton, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour while drunk on July 13 in Salisbury Arts Centre. He has been fined £121 and has been ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £32 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

LEE MAGUIRE, aged 36, of Larkhill Road, Durrington, has been issued a warrant for arrest without bail for a string of driving offences. On June 26 the defendant drove a Land Rover along the A345, Amesbury, when over the prescribed alcohol limit, while not possessing the correct policy, insurance or license. He also failed to surrender to custody at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on August 2, having previously been released on bail.

JOANNE NUTLAND, aged 49, of Langford Road, Trowbridge, indicated a plea of guilty to stealing and committing fraud. On April 16 the defendant stole and used a Lloyds debit card that did not belong to her in Salisbury, purchasing goods to the value of £32.69. She has been ordered to pay compensation of £32.69, a surcharge to fund victim services of £85 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

KENNY WELLS, aged 61, of Verona Road, Salisbury, has been convicted of stealing a number of items to the total of £934 in Alton. On August 30 last year the defendant stole a rucksack, handbag, wallet, £350 in cash, two debit cards and driving licenses. He has been issued with an electronically monitored curfew where he must stay at his address from Sunday to Friday, from 12pm to 10pm, for four weeks, beginning on August 4, and has been ordered to pay compensation of £480.

JASON BLACK, aged 25, of Douglas Browns Walk, Larkhill, indicated a plea of guilty to using unlawful violence towards another. The incident took place on December 11 last year in Tidworth, and was found to be racially aggravated. He has been ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £85 and pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and carry out unpaid work for 60 hours.

RICHARD JOYCE, aged 45, of Beamont Way, Amesbury, indicated a plea of guilty to intentional abusive behaviour to another, found to be racially aggravated. The incident took place on October 21 last year in Amesbury, and the defendant has been fined £50, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MICHAEL BURTON, aged 19, of Finnis Road, Amesbury, pleaded guilty to assault, taking place on July 13 in Amesbury. He has been fined £75, and has been ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £32 and pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

BAZINCA CURTE, aged 28, of Fisherton Street, Salisbury, has indicated a plea of guilty to stealing materials to the value of £200. The incident took place on June 17 in Mere jointly with Nelut Curte. She has been fined £100, and has been ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

NELUT CURTE, aged 29, of Fisherton Street, Salisbury, has indicated a plea of guilty to stealing materials to the value of £200. The incident took place on June 17 in Mere jointly with Bazinca Curte. She has been fined £100, and has been ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

KRISTIAN GREER, aged 27, of Sunny Hill Road, Salisbury, has been issued with a warrant for arrest without bail for possessing a class C drug. On September 11 last year in Larkhill, Salisbury, the defendant possessed a quantity of Diazepam.

SAM HOBSON, aged 30, of Sandell Place, Amesbury, has indicated a plea of guilty to possessing class A drugs. On February 28 in Salisbury the defendant possessed a quantity of diamorphine and crack cocaine. He has been ordered to participate in rehabilitation activity, pay a fine of £100, and has been ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £85 and pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DAWN HOLLOW, aged 46, of Rollestone Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to assault. The incident took place on January 20 in Potterne, and the defendant has been ordered to participate in rehabilitation activity. She has been ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £85 and pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

RYAN SMITH, aged 36, of Mercury Drive, Andover, has indicated a plea of guilty to stealing products to the value of £320. The incident took place on February 14 in Ludgershall, when the defendant stole boxes of whiskey belonging to Co-op stores. He has been committed to prison for six weeks concurrent, and has been ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £115.

ANTONIO DONATO VALENTINO BRUNETTI, aged 31, of Rowde, Wiltshire, pleaded guilty to assault by beating on July 27 last year. A community order was made and he must carry out 240 hours of unpaid work. A restraining order was also put in place against the person he was convicted of assaulting. Magistrates also ordered him to pay £200 compensation, a victim surcharge of £85, and court costs of £85.
