A HGV ended up in a field in Mere this morning.
Emergency services were called to reports of a HGV rolling over and a diesel spillage on Gillingham Road in Mere this morning (Friday, August 23) at around 5.45am.
Fire crews from Gillingham, Mere and Wincanton attended the incident and made the scene safe.
When they arrived crews found a large vehicle had left the carriageway and rolled onto its side into a field.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said no one was trapped and crews made the scene safe.
The vehicle was recovered by 6.40am.
Police say the driver is believed to have been uninjured.
