A FARM in Rockbourne has been affected by a stubble fire.
At around 12.50pm earlier today fire and rescue services were called to the incident, with crews from Fordingbridge, Cranborne, Ringwood, Verwood, Burley, Salisbury, Beaulieu and Eastleigh attending.

A stubble fire is caused by setting fire to straw stubble that is still present once grains have been harvested.
Fire crews working together across the counties #OneTeam @hfrs_control mobilised @Fordingbridge47 from @Hants_fire to a field fire in Rockbourne along with Cranborne from @DWFireControl. Further up county, @DWFireControl used @Andover31 along with Wiltshire for a baler fire.

The fire was cleared by 2pm.
