THOUSANDS of petrolheads packed out in Salisbury yesterday for the second annual Car Fest.

Dozens of vehicles, from modern Aston Martins to vintage Audis took over Market Place and Guildhall Square.

This year, Salisbury City Council is working in partnership with Detailed Moments to bring the free event to the city.

Chair of the business working group, Councillor Kevin Daley said, "We are really pleased with how popular Salisbury Car Fest was yesterday.

"More than 90 cars of all varieties were displayed in the Market Place, doubling the number we had last year.

"It is lovely to see the positive response we have received from the event and we already look forward to next year."

But it wasn't just for car lovers.

Visitors also enjoyed live music from three-piece band Tom and the Clementynes, as well as street food and walkabout entertainment.
