WEEKLY drama sessions are being offered to youngsters in Bemerton Heath for the first time by Wiltshire Creative’s Stage 65.
The club is part of a partnership between Wiltshire Creative and Bemerton Heath Community Centre.
Hour-long sessions will cost just £2 and will offer young people the chance to learn new skills and take part in performance opportunities with Wiltshire Creative.
Anyone aged seven to 11 can join. The Bemerton Stage 65 Youth Theatre club will meet weekly on Thursdays from 5pm.
Stage 65 Youth Theatre director Dave Orme said: “It’s really exciting to be working in Bemerton Heath in this way and we hope the club will provide lots of opportunities for young people to take part, to learn performance skills and meet new friends.”
Stage 65 already offers weekly drama groups in Tidworth and Amesbury as well as providing sessions at Salisbury Playhouse.
