A MOTORCYCLIST from Marlborough has died following a collision on the A338 at Collingbourne Kingston yesterday.
The accident occurred at approximately 6.30pm on Friday September 20.
A motorcyclist was travelling southbound along the A338 and a Peugeot Partner van was travelling northbound when the collision took place.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50s from the Marlborough area, sadly died at the scene.
His family at this time and they are being supported by a specially trained family liaison officer.
The driver of the van was taken to Salisbury District Hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed for approximately six hours to allow for collision investigators to attend the scene.
