A QUANTITY of class A drugs were seized during a raid at an address in Salisbury.
Police executed a drugs warrant at a property in Cherry Close at 5am yesterday (October 3).
A large amount of cash and various items of drugs paraphernalia were also found inside the property.
A woman aged in her 40s was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
She was taken to custody for questioning and has since been released under investigation.
Inspector Pete Sparrow said: “This was a positive warrant which saw officers disrupting drug activity in our city and enabled us to seize class A drugs, preventing them from reaching vulnerable hands.
“It is really important that we are kept informed of suspected drug activity in our local community so we can take action, as this warrant clearly demonstrates. I'd urge anyone with concerns about drug use and supply in their neighbourhood to get in touch."
To report suspected drug activity call Wiltshire Police on 101.
