A VICE president at J.P. Morgan has been charged with stealing more than £100,000 from the bank over the course of four years.

Kevin Emerson, of Hayward Way, in Verwood, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court last week.

He has been charged with theft by employee and fraud by abuse of position.

Prosecutors claim he stole some £118,661.33 between March 2002 and February 2006.

It is also alleged that he committed a fraud on dates between January 2007 and March 2017 while working as a vice president at the bank in Chaseside, Bournemouth.

Emerson has not yet entered a plea to either of the charges against him.

After his first appearance before magistrates, he was given unconditional bail ahead of a plea and trial preparation hearing at Bournemouth Crown Court on October 31.

A spokesperson from J.P. Morgan said the company is aware of the allegations. However, he declined to give any further comment.
