SALISBURY Carnival is entering its tenth year, and is looking for community groups to take part in the annual procession through the city.
Floats, music and walkabout entertainment will be filling the streets on Friday, October 25, between 7.30pm and 9pm, while raising money for the Mayor of Salisbury’s charity - South Wilts Mencap.
Organised by Salisbury City Council, last year the carnival showcased entries from across the Wessex Carnival Circuit and steam entries, as well as local community groups and businesses, and aims to do the same this year.
