THE autumn fair proved to be a a popular event raising nearly £5,000 for Cancer Research UK (CRUK).

The event, which was held by Friends of Fordingbridge Cancer Research UK at Damerham village hall on Friday, October 4.

Lorraine Morgan, of Friends of Fordingbridge CRUK, said: “We are delighted to have been able to promote such a popular event again this year. The success of the CRUK autumn fair is down to the hard work and dedication of our small committee, the continued support of our many stall holders and of all those from the community who attended and gave so generously to such an important cause. We are very grateful to one and all.”

Shoppers were able browse the stalls selling items such as gifts, clothing, and produce. There were also raffle prizes up for grabs during the fair, which is held annually.
