A MAN was cut with a knife during a robbery in a Salisbury underpass.
The man, in his 30s, was walking from Waitrose in the direction of Ashley Road at around 7.30pm yesterday, when he was approached by four men in the middle of the underpass.
The men grabbed the victim's satchel and attempted to pull it from him. One of the men then used a knife to scratch the victim’s hand.
They eventually managed to make off with the victim’s satchel which contained an iPad and a vape.
One of the suspects is described as aged in his 30s, of large build, with short light brown hair. He was wearing a grey hoody and a beanie hat.
A second suspect is described as aged around 16 years old, white, skinny and about 5 ft 6 inches tall. He was also wearing a beanie hat and Kappa trousers.
Detective Constable Mike Boshier said: “We are conducting enquiries in relation to this incident which would have no doubt been frightening for the victim – fortunately he wasn’t seriously injured but did suffer cuts to his hand.
“We need to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the robbery, or anyone who was in the area around 7.30pm who may have seen the suspects – you could have significant information which could help with our enquiries.”
