THE FORMER post office has now become an insurance firm, that has relocated from the other side of the road.
A-Plan's Salisbury branch has moved from 4 Winchester Street into the site opposite on the corner, 1 Winchester Street, replacing the vacant space that was once the city's main post office.
The post office was shut with no notice in June 2018 as the gift shop it was attached to, Showcards, had gone out of business.
And before that Salisbury Post Office relocated from its previous premises in Castle Street in March 2016.
Now the insurance provider, which has been a resident company in Salisbury since 2009, has moved to the larger site and is open for business.
Updates on what will happen to the now former A-Plan site to follow.
