BONFIRE night is on Tuesday, meaning fireworks and lots of them, both tonight and this week. Make sure your November goes off with a bang at one of these events, either in or near Salisbury.

Salisbury's premier firework display

Hosted by The Clubhouse Salisbury and South Wilts Sports Club this year, the skies of Salisbury will once again be illuminated with colours and light in an extravagant display, beforehand treating guests to live music and a selection of food and drink.

Where: Salisbury and South Wilts Sports Club, Skew Bridge, Wilton Road.

When: TONIGHT. Gates open at 6pm with the display starting around 7.45pm.

Cost: £10 for adults plus one child, and £5 for each additional child. Under 4s can go for free.

Newton Tony Bonfire and Fireworks

In support of Newton Tony CofE VC Primary School, the 'fantastic firework display' will be taking place during the bonfire festivities, with a BBQ, sweets and a selection of other seasonal refreshments available.

Where: Barney's Field. Newton Tony.

When: Tuesday, November 5. Gates open at 6pm with the bonfire at 6.30pm and fireworks at 7pm.

Cost: £3 for adults, £2 for children and £10 for families.

Tickets available from the school or on the night.

Woodcutts Scouts Fireworks Spectacular

Now in its 17th year, enjoy a night of breath taking fireworks while raising money for the Woodcutts Scouts. There are quieter displays for children earlier in the evening before the 'spectacular' main event.

Where: 1st Woodcutts Scout HQ and Campsite, Sixpenny Handley.

When: TONIGHT. Gates open at 5.30pm. Children's display at 6.30pm followed by main display at 7.30pm.

Cost: Advance tickets £5 for adults, £4 for children and £15 for a family ticket, or £6, £5 and £20 on the night.

Gomeldon Fireworks and Bonfire Evening

Gomeldon Primary School's firework night promises to be family friendly with glow in the dark items, a bonfire, a BBQ and lots of fun.

Where: Horsebarrow Field, Gomeldon Road.

When: Saturday, November 9. Gates open at 5.30pm, with the bonfire at 6pm and fireworks at 6.30pm.

Cost: £5 for adults and £1 for under 16s.

Alderbury and West Grimstead Fireworks Spectacular

Alderbury and West Grimstead will be welcoming parishioners to the village for its next firework display. Hot food is available when ordered in advance to get guests through the cold night, as well as a variety of hot and cold drinks.

Where: Firs Road, Alderbury.

When: Friday, November 8. Gates open at 5.30pm.

Cost: £5 for adults and £4 for children, £25 for a family ticket with food (two adults and two children), and £15 for a family ticket without food.

1st Downton Scouts Fireworks Night

Fireworks and a bonfire will be coming to Downton in support of the 1st Downton Scouts - family tickets cannot be purchased on the night so make sure to grab them in advance!

Where: The White Horse Inn, The Borough.

When: TONIGHT. BBQ available from 6pm, followed by the bonfire at 7pm and fireworks at 7.20pm.

Cost: £7 for adults and £3 for children under 16 years old. A family ticket (two adults and three children) costs £15.

Individuals tickets can be bought on the night or from The White Horse Inn, Downton Hale Post Office and The Borough Cafe.

Quidhampton Village Fireworks Party

The White Horse, Quidhampton, is proudly part of the fireworks party in the village, hosting a night of fun and fireworks, as well as a disco for kids, free sparklers and hot food.

Where: The White Horse, Lower Road.

When: Saturday, November 9 from 5.45pm. Food available from 7.45pm (advanced table booking essential).

Cost: £6 for adults, £3 for children (under 16) and £15 for a family ticket (either two adults and two children or one adult and three children).

Tickets are available from the bar at The White Horse during opening hours.

Ringwood Grand Fireworks

Fairground rides, a hog roast, a traditional bonfire and live entertainment will all be part of the firework festivities in Ringwood, as well as a firework display for children.

Where: Carvers Recreation Ground, Southampton Road, Ringwood.

When: TOMORROW. Gates open at 3.30pm with live entertainment starting from 3.45pm. There will then be a children's firework display around 5.30pm, followed by the bonfire at 6.30pm and the main firework display at 7pm.

Cost: Advance tickets £1.50 or £2.50 on the day.

Tickets can be bought from Ringwood Gateway or Carvers Clubhouse.

Fantastic Fireworks at Longleat

Guests can end a day at the Wiltshire safari park with fireworks promising to be beautiful, bright and autumnal, accompanied by a special soundtrack. Twilight tickets are available on firework days.

Where: Longleat Safari and Adventure Park.

When: TONIGHT. The event begins at 6.30pm. Twilight ticket holders can enter the park (without safari park entry) from 4pm.

Cost: £10 online, free for children under three-years-old.
