SALISBURY karting ace Zak Oates has completed a superb season by being crowned Junior TKM 2019 British Karting champion
His year started the year in the Motorsport UK British karting championship in April at pfi kart circuit in Lincolnshire and ended at Wilton Mill near Daventry.
During the championship Oates had five wins and three seconds in July at Shennington kart circuit near Banbury.
Oates retained his English championship title for the second year running as well as his Superprix Championship title for the second year running.
In August Oates also gained the TKM Festival Championship title to add to the list.
Then in October, the driver became the British champion to end his junior career in style.
The driver who has just turned 16 made his senior debut last weekend at Kimbolton and he raced in two heats and managed to qualify on pole position and finished second.
The teenager will also be racing in the British Championships at this level and is looking for sponsors to help his career and anyway who would like to get involved can email nchanel81@hotmail.co.uk
