SALISBURY Hospice Charity’s Christmas Fair has raised its highest fundraising total yet.

The event, which was held at Wilton Shopping Village last Friday (November 8) — raised £3684, an increase of £600 compared to the previous year.

The fair offered up shoppers a variety of stalls to browse around and start of their Christmas shopping early.

The charity's Christmas Cards proved popular with visitors and had to be restocked throughout the day.

Tamsin Murley, of Salisbury Hospice Charity, said: "Here at Salisbury Hospice Charity we are delighted that our Christmas fair, held at Wilton Shopping last Friday, raised £3684. We're so pleased with that, it's an increase of £600 from last year. The fair was so well attended this year.

"We would really like to thank Wilton Shopping Village once again for allowing us the use of their facilities. We would also like to thank our wonderful volunteers. We could not run this event without them, all of stallholders, and of course everyone who attended and supported us on the day."
