THOUSANDS of people are expected in the city centre tonight for the annual Christmas lights switch on in Salisbury.
It takes place between 6pm and 8pm, with live music, local performers, walkabout entertainment, street food and fireworks.
As a result, there are a number of road closures in place in the city centre.
They will all come into force from 6.15pm and are likely to be in effect until around 8.30pm
These will be:
- Blue Boar Row (Closed)
- Castle Street (Shut to traffic from Scots Lane)
- Endless Street (Closed)
- Minster Street (Partially closed)
- Queen Street (Closed)
- Winchester Street (Closed)
