AN ARSON investigation has been launched after a block of public toilets were deliberate set on fire.
The damage has left the toilets, on Westminster Road and owned by Salisbury City Council, with smoke damage to the internal walls and cubicles.
It comes just two weeks after the toilets in Victoria park were damaged by fire, prompting police to launch an arson probe.
PC Harry Murphy said house-to-house enquiries in the area after the fire, on 16 November around 8.45pm, hadn't supplied any significant information and appealed for witnesses.
"We'd really like the public to think if they were in the area at the time and remember seeing anything suspicious that could help us identify the suspect," he added. "We are particularly interested in anyone in the area who may have dash cam footage."
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote crime reference 54190114038.
