A METAL pole was used to grab keys left on a work surface to break into a home in Salisbury.
The incident at address in Marlborough Road was reported to police on Tuesday, November 26 at around 9.35am.
A police spokesperson said: "Unknown suspect(s) have jumped over the wall of the back garden, pulled open the utility room window and used a metal pole to hook out the door keys that were on the work surface in the utility room. They have then opened the door with the key."
The suspect(s) were unable to get into the main house.
Police say nothing was disturbed or stolen.
The metal poles discarded on the patio.
Officers also believe the suspects were possibly disturbed by dogs barking.
