A 17-YEAR-OLD boy was left shaken after being confronted by a group of youths with a knife in Wilton Road, Salisbury.

Police say at approximately 4.30pm on Saturday (November 30), the boy was walking home along the A36 when he was confronted by six youths who are believed to have been around the age of 15.

During the confrontation, it is believed one of the youths pointed a knife towards the victim.

The victim managed to run away from the group, but was left extremely shaken up by the ordeal, say police.

PC Martyn Powell said: “We need to speak to any members of the public who were travelling along Wilton Road in the area between Park Wall Junction and the Chalk Pit. We’d be especially interested in speaking to anyone with a dash cam fitted to their vehicles travelling in the area between 4pm and 4.40pm.”
