A CAR was found "well alight" near College Roundabout in Salisbury.
The fire service was alerted to the incident at around 9.30am on Monday, December 2 and a crew from Salisbury attended.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said the car was "well alight" when firefighters arrived at the scene.
Police also attended to help with traffic control.
Firefighters also investigated a fire alarm that had been set off at Wiltshire College's halls of residence near to where the car fire had occurred. There was no sign of fire and the alarms were reset.
The incident was dealt with by around 9.55am.
