AN AMESBURY home was broken into while the victims were on holiday.
The break-in, which happened at an address on Salisbury Road, was reported to police this morning (Wednesday, December 12).
A police spokesman said: "The victims had been away on holiday, so the burglary could have occurred any time between 28/11 and today (4/12).
"The property was broken into via the back door but it is not yet clear if anything has been stolen.
"We would like to urge people to take precautions to protect their home if they are going away on holiday."
