A MAN was knocked unconscious and suffered a broken nose after an attack in Old Sarum.
It happened at around 9.47pm on Thursday, November 21 at the Portway roundabout.
Police say the victim, a local man in his 20s, was walking along the road when he was involved in an altercation with two others.
He was punched and kicked to the floor.
He also sustained bruising to his face.
Police believe the assault is linked to another altercation on a bus nearby, which happened shortly beforehand.
Two boys, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
CPT Investigator Tamasin Lacey said: “Although we have made two arrests, we are looking for independent witnesses.
“Perhaps you were walking by, or you were driving past and may have dash cam footage which could assist with our enquiries.
“We are urging anyone with information to come forward.”
