FOLK band Steeleye Span who are celebrating 50 years of making music are performing in Salisbury.
Marking half a century with a new album, EST’D 1969, they will be at City Hall on Sunday, December 15.
Led by Maddy Prior, the seven-piece line-up will draw on the group’s incredible history to provide a night of favourites and surprises from the decades.
Steeleye Span are amongst the best known acts of the British Folk Revival.
The group’s hit singles include Gaudette and “All Around My Hat. They had four Top 40 albums and achieved a certified gold record with sales of All Around My Hat.
