A FATHER and son duo are set to entertain audiences in the new year with three concerts.

Former Burgate School sixth former Matthew Lloyd-Wilson returns home to Frogham to perform with his father Brian.

Brian teaches violin and viola to local students, and also taught Matthew to play violin from the age of four.

Brian has travelled the world as a concert artist, and Matthew regularly appears as a soloist with a variety of orchestras.

Matthew and Brian have put together a Virtuoso programme for two violins, entitled Unity and Diversity: Theme and Variations for Two Violins.

The concerts takes place on Friday (January 3) in Hyde Memorial Hall and Saturday, January 4 in St Mary’s Church, Fordingbridge. Both concerts start at 7.30pm.

The third and final concert is on Sunday (January 5) at 3pm in Rockbourne village hall.
