A CONCERT featuring Blake and Britain’s Got Talent winner Colin Thackery at Salisbury Cathedral raised more than £30,000 for charity.
The Salisbury Carol Concert was in aid of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and Help for Heroes and attended by 1,400 people.
The evening was launched by a fanfare from The Bugle Platoon of The Rifles.
There were also performances from the Band of The Rifles, directed by Captain Justin Teggarty, and twin sopranos Naomi and Hannah Moxon who perform as Classical Reflection.The Help For Heroes (also known as Invictus Games) Choir performed as did Quoque Plures Mulieres Choir.
Jeffrey Archer read his own Christmas tale, The Son of God”, and actress Emilia Fox was also in attendance.
