Bill Edwards has stepped down from running Fordingbridge Monday Club
FORDINGBRIDGE Monday Club has bid farewell to Bill Edwards.
Bill, who was previously awarded Fordingbridge Citizen of the Year 2019 in recognition of his services to the community, has now retired after many years of running the club.
The club which arranges day coach trips for those who have little chance for getting out – supporting the frail and elderly and those who are isolated and lonely by giving them an opportunity to socialise.
At the last outing Bill was presented with a certificate and a card signed by members and awarded an honorary life membership of the club.
