A PERSON was cut from a vehicle by firefighters after a crash on the A338 in Newton Tony.
Emergency services were called to the incident, which involved two vehicles, at around 6.15pm yesterday (January 7).
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "Fire crews from Salisbury and Andover attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles, on the A338 at Newton Tony, and released one casualty using hydraulic and electrical cutting equipment."
The incident involved a Kia and Peugeot.
Police say one person was taken to hospital for a check-up and the A338 southbound was closed for an hour and a half.
The road reopened at 9.15pm.
South Western Ambulance Service said: "Our ambulance crew treated one patient at the scene and conveyed them to hospital for further care."
