A round-up of cases from Salisbury Magistrates Court:

CHARLOTTE BISHOP, aged 21, of The Ridge, Woodfalls, pleaded guilty to intentionally damaging a kitchen window to the value of £250 in Salisbury on April 2, 2019. She has been fined £40 and has been ordered to pay costs of £35.

CRAIG JUKES, aged 32, of Hambrook Way, Amesbury, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle along Burtle Road, East Huntspill, on April 17, 2019, without an authorised license or correct policy of insurance. He also indicated a plea of guilty to possessing 28.4 grams of cannabis. He has been fined £200 in total, and has been ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and pay costs of £35. His driving record has been endorsed with eight points, and the cannabis is to be forfeited and destroyed by police.

MICHAEL STEPHENS, aged 38, of Collins Court, Tidworth, indicated a plea of guilty to a string of offences in Ludgershall and Tidworth, dating between August and November 2019. The offences include stealing a cycle pedal to the value of £2,500, stealing alcohol and food, damaging a window and possessing cocaine. Stephens has been committed to 30 weeks of prison in total, and has been ordered to pay compensation of £2,500. The found drugs are to be forfeited and destroyed.

  • Heard at Swindon Magistrates' Court:

JOE ABBOTT, aged 21, of Abbotts Road, Tidworth, was brought before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on December 16 for being absent without leave from the Armed Forces. It has been ordered that he is transferred back to service custody by Army Personnel.

NATALIE HILL, aged 40, of Clover Lane, Durrington, had not paid a £370 fine that was ordered on October 17, 2016. As a result an enforcement warrant issue without bail has been directed to CEO/Approved Enforcement Agency.

WILLIAM DAY, aged 28, of James Road, Amesbury, has pleaded guilty to stealing a Giant ARX pedal cycle, to the value of £250, in Durrington on July 4, 2019. Day has been fined £306 and has been ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £32 and pay costs of £85.

ANTONY GLOVER, aged 23, of Frobisher Drive, Swindon, was found guilty of keeping an unlicensed Mini Cooper in Bulford. The car was found on April 3, 2017, on Crescent Road, and the previous licence had expired on October 31, 2016. He was fined £440 and was ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £92.92 and pay costs of £90.
