AN air ambulance landed in Queen Elizabeth Gardens after an incident in the city centre.
South Western Ambulance Service was called to a medical incident in Fisherton Street at around 2.30 this afternoon (Thursday, January 9).
It said a male patient was taken to Salisbury District Hospital by land ambulance and is believed to be in a "serious condition".
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said: "Our crews have treated a male patient at the scene, and conveyed him to hospital by land ambulance for further care. The patient is thought to be in a serious condition."
A land ambulance, air ambulance , and two other paramedics were sent to the scene.
