A large quantity of tools worth thousands of pounds were stolen during a break-in in Downton.
The burglary happened overnight last night (January15) at a garage on Kiln Lane.
Items stolen included a Stihl disc cutter, two chainsaws and a pole cutter, as well as a range of DeWalt power tools.
PC Gary Underwood, from Salisbury Community Policing Team, said: “We know the tools were stolen some time between 4.45pm last night and 8am this morning.
“We not only want to hear from anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area overnight, but also anyone who may have seen tools for sale in suspicious circumstances.
“Perhaps someone you know has offered them for sale today or you have seen something on social media?”
Anyone with information should call PC Underwood on 101, quoting crime reference 54200004786.
