A MAN was airlifted to hospital after a crash on the A303 involving a car and lorry.
An Audi A3 collided with a Scania lorry at the junction of the A303 and Amesbury Road near Solstice Park at around 5.45pm yesterday (Thursday, January 23).
The driver of the car, a local man in his 30s, was taken to Southampton General Hospital with head injuries.
The male lorry driver was shaken but uninjured.

The stretch of road was closed for approximately six hours.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnesses the crash or has dash cam footage.
