A MOTORCYCLE group has helped secure a new defibrillator for Barford Saint Martin, by donating around £150.
Salisbury Motorcycle and Light Car Club (SMCLCC) presented the cheque to the Barford Saint Martin Defibrillator Fundraising Committee to help install the latest machine at The Barford Inn.
SMCLCC decided to donate to the committee as its members take part in the annual Arbuthnot Trial every September, which starts and finishes at the pub and is held in recognition of motor cycling enthusiast Sir Robert Keith Arbuthnot.
Mike, SMCLCC president, and Mary Rye presented the cheque to Jane Kennedy and Roy Wilde, from the fundraising committee, at the end of last year.
This year the club has decided to support Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
