A 33-YEAR-old man has been disqualified from driving for 17 months after pleading guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.
Lloyd Buckling, of Barnard St, Salisbury, must also complete 163 hours unpaid work, 20 days of Rehabilitation Activities, and pay £175.00 surcharges and costs.
It comes after an incident in the early hours of Monday, January 13, when a vehicle was found abandoned on A345 Durrington with substantial damage.
Mr Buckling was located a short
distance from the vehicle and officers suspected him to be the driver and intoxicated.
He also had the car key in his possession and when asked to provide a sample of breath, he failed to do so.
He appeared in Salisbury Magistrates Court on February 2.
