Sooty is a black-and-white male, around three- to four-years-old. His elderly owner is unwell and feels he will be happier with someone who can pay him more attention.

Sooty likes a fuss and will sit on a lap (on his own terms). He has lots of energy but he can be rather boisterous so he is not suitable for a home with young children. He has not lived with dogs or other cats.

Sooty seems to prefer to be indoors most of the time. He is neutered.
