ROAD closures in the centre of Salisbury are to be put in place next weekend as bridge works are carried out.
Highways England teams will be working on refurbishing the railway bridge on the A36, Churchill Way.
As a result, the road will be closed from February 22 at 8pm to February 23 at 6am.
A spokesperson confirmed that the work will involve maintenance of the rail deck, including an upgrade of the safety barrier, replacement of bridge joints, waterproofing and resurfacing.
Diversion routes via the A3094 (Netherhampton Road) will be clearly signposted, they added.
