A NEW independent children's book shop has opened in Salisbury.
The Rocketship Bookshop has opened on Bridge Street, and is run by Jo Boyles.
Jo Boyles announced in November that she had acquired the keys to the building, which was previously the @Home bar.
Here it is. I have the keys to this beautiful old place and I’m opening an independent children’s bookshop early next year in Salisbury. Lots of work to do and I am ready for it. Wish me luck please! pic.twitter.com/1hGtYmpYRk

Before that, it was the home of the Everyman Bookshop.
The shop will stock mainly children's books, for all ages from babies up to young adults, as well as some titles by local authors.
Jo said the shop is a “dream come true” for her, and that it feels "great" to finally have it open, having worked for the last four months to get everything ready.
And we are OPEN! Blimey. pic.twitter.com/CkTE7kmn0z
