HOLIDAYMAKERS have been asked to avoid visiting a Salisbury surgery following the increase in Coronavirus cases.
Salisbury Medical Practice, Wilton Road, reminded patients earlier this week that those with a cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, a fever or a runny nose should not come to the surgery, if they have visited China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Macau in the last two weeks.
Additionally patients should not come to the surgery if they have any of the symptoms listed above and have been in contact with someone who has recently returned from one of these countries.
Instead the surgery has asked patients to stay indoors and call 111.
This is the same advice being given by surgeries across the UK.

Public Health England has also advised that travellers returning from Wuhan or Hubei Province, both in China, should not leave the house and should call 111 for advice, even if they have no symptoms.
