THE second giant model train event is making a return journey to Fordingbridge this weekend.
It runs in St Mary’s Church Hall from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunda and is being organised by the Friends of Fordingbridge Parish Church.
This year it features an unusual attraction - the “Union Pacific Big Boy”, a model of the largest steam train ever built.
One of the organisers, Viv Finch said: “We are again hoping to attract all train enthusiasts and just the plain curious, to this major fundraising weekend. There will be a floor layout of these large than average trains and plenty to see.
