A CUMBRIAN bid-support company has launched a new brand as it urges companies to take full advantage of the huge opportunities opening up to the North of England.

The BidBase (formerly known as Prosure Engineering) has changed its name as the Government seeks to deliver more major projects in the region and boost the northern economy.

The firm helped to win over £2.3 billion in major contracts for its clients, with a win rate of 88 per cent and over 40 years of experience supporting companies across the UK and internationally to write tenders and bids.

Managing director Mark Watters said: “We don’t discuss our work for clients, but it’s clear that the North of England is experiencing a moment of serious opportunity, with the Government actively seeking to deliver a number of enormous projects in the region. The more we can attract new work and business to Cumbria by winning these bids for our clients, the more our entire economy will thrive.”

The BidBase helps companies to optimise their entire approach to tenders and bids – focusing resources where they have the most chance of success, writing, branding and producing bids and constantly reevaluating the entire pipeline of opportunities. The BidBase also actively seeks out technological innovations and smart ways of working that generate savings to help make tenders even more competitive.

As well as boosting success rate, The BidBase helps to lower overheads and relieve strain and stress on staff from writing tenders. While the company’s original speciality was in the construction, manufacturing and civil engineering sectors, The BidBase now provides support for an ever-widening range of industries.
