BASINGSTOKE Town continue their recent tough run of games with a trip to second placed Thatcham Town on Saturday.

Last Saturday the Dragons were unlucky to be beaten 1-0 by visiting fifth placed Paulton Rovers.

On Monday night, they were beaten at fourth placed Melksham Town 3-1, as Aaron Parfitt made his debut for the team.

Town took the lead in this contest thanks to club captain Dean Stow.

However, the home side levelled things before the break from Jack Ball.

They then won the contest as Ball and Phil Ormrod were on target after the interval.

Reflecting on the Town's last two games manager Dan Brownlie said: "I felt we gave a good account of ourselves in both games and could have got something out each game.

"I am happy with the way we are preforming and we will look to give it our best shot at Thatcham."

Harrison Cliff who missed the last two games due to injury could be back in the squad for the trip, while D'Andre Brown injured in Saturday's loss against Paulton is also expected to be back.
