A SALISBURY woman who has never modelled before is representing Wiltshire in a national modelling competition.
Zineb Shoman is just one of the select few women invited to enter the final round of this year's Miss British Isles.
The 23-year-old grew up in Morocco and launched beauty brand Rosa de Rose in Wiltshire in 2018, which specialises in using the Moroccan ingredients that Zineb grew up with, as well as an array of botanicals sourced from around the globe.
Zineb said she is "excited" to take part in the upcoming final, despite never modelling or competing before.
She added: "I am looking forward to this, it is a much needed break from the two years I have spent with research and sourcing ingredients on farms.
"I am surprised and happy to be representing Wiltshire at the Miss British Isles competition after receiving the invite on social media."
The final is to take place on May 25 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Chester, when Zineb will be modelling a cocktail dress and evening gown.
If she wins the prestigious title she will not only receive a sash and crown, but a £1,500 cash prize and a wealth of photo shoot opportunities with professional photographers.
"I now have a few weeks to find the perfect dress and heels, and will be using the time to step-up my body toning workouts at the gym," she added.
"I hope to be an inspiration to others who do not have representation or experience but want to give it a go."
