ODIHAM ice hockey ace Emily Harris will have to wait another year to make her Great Britain senior debut at the World Championships.
The teenager was included when Great Britain unveiled the team that would have gone to the World Championship Division Two Group A in Jaca later this month.
GB had been set to compete against hosts Spain, as well as Chinese Taipei, North Korea, Latvia and Mexico, in the six-team tournament, but this tournament has now been cancelled due to the coronavirus
Head coach, Cheryl Smith, said: “The 22 players and two reserves bust a gut to get into the World Championship squad and they deserve to be recognised.”
Harris was GB’s top goal scorer in the Under-18 World Championships at the start of the year in Poland.
