PLANS have been submitted to build five, three-bedroom houses in Durrington.
The application would see the houses built on the land of 90 Bulford Road.
In May 2018, permission was granted for the erection of the five homes.
The application says: “Since the approval of the previous application, the applicant has taken advice from local agents regarding the potential saleability of the approved scheme. The applicant has been advised that there is unlikely to be demand for the large three and four-bedroom detached properties in this location, which has resulted in the proposals being altered to reflect the expected market demand.”
Applicants Saxon Gate Homes Ltd says the proposals have been carefully considered to ensure they are in accordance with the adopted policies of the development plan; that they will boost the supply of housing within Wiltshire; that they will not have an adverse impact upon either the character or appearance of the area; and that they will not adversely impact the neighbouring residents.
